To navigate MPA, please refer to the sidebars, but if you’re here, what you’re probably most interested in are the posters that have been reproduced.  Please look to the right sidebar under “Movie Posters“. Here you will find a list of all the posters we have so far that we know have been reproduced, whether officially reprinted and being passed off as original or otherwise “bootlegged”.  This list is far from complete, as there are hundreds of reproduced posters, but an authentication will get posted as each is completed.  To see the full title of the poster listed, keep your mouse pointer hovering over the main movie title and its subcategories.  Under “Recent 5 Posts“, you will find the last five posters that have been authenticated.

If you have any questions about what you’re seeing or reading, please direct your inquiries to the person who posted the information. In order to prevent spamming of the authors and to maintain their privacy, their contact emails are not made public.  However, you may reach some of them by asking your questions on the various open movie poster forums to which they may belong, such as Not Suitable For General Exhibition, All Poster Forum or contacting the Admin.

In the left sidebar is “Open Forums“, which lists the various open poster forums for you to consider asking further questions.  Under “Authors” is the list of people who have contributed their work and findings.  When there is new information regarding MPA, it will be posted under “MPA Information“.

UPDATE 6/11/2008

A new feature has been added to MPA to let collectors see what other collectors have been interested in researching on MPA.   Under “Most Viewed” are the top 12 most viewed posters since the start of implementing the views count. This should not be used as an indicator of the popularity of a movie poster, but as an indicator of how much speculation there has been about it in recent times.  There is also a views count at the end of each authentication.
